Hi travelers!
So much has changed in life lately, and I’m so excited to finally share it all with you guys.
A lot of you have been following along through different seasons of my life, and this one feels like a really big chapter. So here’s what’s new…
We moved!
Guys… we are officially Arizonians! How crazy is that?!
Moving from the DMV area all the way to Arizona has been something we’ve been waiting for over six months, and it still feels surreal that it’s finally happening. There were so many moving pieces, so many unknowns, and so many moments where we wondered, “Is this really going to happen?”
But here we are.
New state. New home. New adventures.

And another huge change…
I left my corporate girlie job and I’m leaning into the stay-at-home mom lifestyle.
And honestly? That feels both exciting and a little scary.
Being a stay-at-home mom is something that no woman in my family has ever really had the opportunity to do. The women before me have always worked hard, balanced careers, and carried so much responsibility. So stepping into this season feels incredibly special — but also unfamiliar.
I don’t take this opportunity lightly.
We are so grateful for God’s provision and His timing. I truly believe every season has a purpose, and right now I’m embracing this one with an open heart.
Now, let’s talk about the move itself… because getting here was an adventure.
For this move, we decided to ship our cars and fly to Arizona with everything we needed for the first few days.
Let me tell you guys about our travel day because it was definitely one for the books.
First of all, both of my checked bags were 75 pounds. Yes… you read that correctly. Seventy-five pounds each. 😂

Thankfully, I had a carryon packed inside one of the suitcases, and because of that, the gate agent was able to help me repack my bags. We moved about 40 pounds from each suitcase into my carry-on, and somehow we made it work.
The first flight into Atlanta was actually pretty smooth, but the second flight was a whole different story.
We ended up sitting on the tarmac for over an hour because there was an issue with one of the fuel pumps that supplies fuel to the engine.
Meanwhile, my daughter was exhausted and hungry.

Normally, I feed her during takeoff because it helps prevent her ears from popping, so I had a whole plan in my head. But after sitting there for so long, that plan went out the window.
I ended up feeding her before takeoff, and thankfully she fell asleep, which was honestly a blessing. But let’s just say traveling with a baby always keeps you humble.
Now we’ve been in Arizona for about three days, and my brain still hasn’t fully processed that this is actually our new home.
Like…
No.
We are not visiting.
We don’t have to pack up and leave.
We LIVE here.
Hello, Arizona!!!!!!
I can’t wait to explore this state, find hidden gems, discover family-friendly places, and share all the adventures along the way.
This next chapter is going to be about slowing down, creating memories, embracing motherhood, and finding beauty in the everyday moments.
Thank you for coming along on this journey with me.
I have a feeling this is going to be a good one.
